Study In Color (Abstract)
I just love the way gouache looks. Flat. I worked on the two pieces in the last few nights. I just let them come out of no where. After seeing the artist Jukyja Dolly when being on search on the internet machine I was inspired. Check the bottom of this post to go to a youtube and of course look at images under her name. I thought I was finished with narrative but story telling is important. It hard to hold me to one voice. Color Flow Gouache on Paper 12×9

Love your work!
Salsali Private Museum (Dubai)
I would love to post photos of some of the art work but better not, don’t need to get into trouble. If you haven’t seen Ramin Salsali’s Museum, part of his collection you must take a look. He has a great philosophy on collecting and sharing. Thank You Sir. Then come back to me and see what’s new. Cheers
HOUSE COAT – TO ROB

12×9
ROBE/HOUSE COAT.
A robe is a loose-fitting outer garment. A robe is distinguished from a cape or cloak by the fact that it usually has sleeves. The English word robe derives from Middle English robe (“garment”), borrowed from Old French robe (“booty, spoils”), itself taken from the Frankish word *rouba (“spoils, things stolen, clothes”), and is related to the word rob. FROM WIKIPEDIA
SO THIS IS WHY SO MANY HOUSE COATS ARE TAKEN FROM HOTELS!
Abstract Shapes (Painting)
Site Santa Fe (Unseen 9)
This was first time to be able to preview the show. One of my close friends had a lovely piece in the exhibit which will help raise money for Site. I can’t tell you the name of the artist as it is to be revealed when a collector purchases the piece. I love the ideal of not knowing who the artist is, so one just focuses on the work and not the name. Here is the piece and if I was to tell you their name Site would have to kill me. SO FORGET IT
The Harbor
This piece is another shape piece done with oil and cold wax. The Harbor in on panel which is 2 inches in depth. The color has been grayed down to create a subtle feel. When I lived in Carpinteria my close friend Wendy Varnels would take me out sailing from the Santa Barbara Harbor. We would enjoyed each others company and let the captain do all the work. But there were time we would pitch in and help, but mostly just stayed out of his way. Enjoy

Shapes In Abstract Painting
This Last Month In Abstract
I’v been working this last month on abstract pieces. Mostly oil and wax. This is a cold wax medium which is mixed into the oil paint. It leaves the surface matt which is a very nice surface. Hope you enjoy the pieces. The ones I have included in this post are all on paper.
