This piece just became, no thought of how am I going to express my love for my son, I did a small sculpture and it looked like Jeremy. So I just continued on and had fun with it.  2014-12-15 14.55.54

Shapes In Abstract Painting

These are different pieces, shapes in more neutral tones. The image evolves as I construct and deconstruct.  These pieces are oil,wax,and ash on panel. The ash comes from my wood burning stove which I use all winter for heat. Enjoy the work.

THE BALL COLLECTOR

This piece was done when I lived in Carpinteria, California.

It’s been in storage for several years, now it hangs in the studio.

Hot waxand resin are combined and melted to create the texture, carving into the wax once it is cool and creating a drawing.

It could beconsidered a drawing or a painting.
